Installing an Electrical Outlet in new construction
This video covers the steps required to install a new electrical outlet, although this is not new construction, the outlet is being installed in an open wall so the electrical box, etc that I use is for new construction and the steps would be the same. As with all my videos I’ve tried to be as detailed as possible so that anyone could complete this task after watching the video.
Now for my disclaimer, I am not an electrician, I do not proclaim to be one, I am a hobbyist who has worked around electricity and I am comfortable doing my own work. This does not mean that I know everything nor that the work I do is up to code. If in doubt please consult an electrician on your specific requirements before attempting any work on your own. Although this is an instructional video, I do not assume any responsibility for any work that you perform.

Testimonial – ‘This was the first time we had used video for a marketing campaign so we had no previous expectations. Andy and Will were professional, patient, clearly understood our requirements and were extremely helpful on the shoot and throughout the post-production stage. We would definitely use them again for other projects and will recommend Echo Video to colleagues.’ Luke Alchin, Digital Marketing Co-ordinator, Science & Technology Books, Elsevier
